Description of duties and qualifications:
Germany's international public broadcaster Deutsche Welle is looking for freelancers to work current affairs shifts in our English language service DW-RADIO/DW-WORLD.DE, based in Bonn, Germany.

The jobs would include: Writing and presenting of live radio news in a self-drive studio; Writing news stories for the Internet; Producing radio packages and online articles for the daily current affairs broadcast; Researching stories "behind the news" from a European perspective; Field reporting for radio and online.

Requirements: Work experience preferably in print/online as well as radio; a good radio voice; Sound current affairs knowledge, especially in European issues; Ability to work shifts; Good German language skills, reading and comprehension.
