Indiana Criminal Records
If you would like to access Indiana criminal records for your Indiana background checks, the Indiana State Police offers a Limited Criminal History Search. This is an online service that lists felonies and Class A misdemeanors that occurred in the state of Indiana. You can access these records online, or you can choose to request Indiana criminal records through the mail.
The cost of accessing Indiana criminal records for a one time use is $16.32 per search. Subscribers to AccessIndiana are charged just $15 per search, and government agencies will be charged $7 per search. Organizations with an ISP Waiver from Fee Exemption will not be charged. A search will return any findings of arrests for felonies and misdemeanors less than a year old, as well as results over a year old that have been given a disposition from the courts.
The Indiana criminal record will identify the accused, provide names and aliases, and show arrest dates, charges, and dispositions. Keep in mind that you will only be able to print up results while you are viewing them, and you cannot save or send results for future use.
To access these records by mail do the following:

Step 2: Include payment. There is a $10 fee to process criminal records requests.
Step 3: Mail the filled out application and payment to the address indicated on the form.

To access Indiana court records, contact the Indiana court system. Court records are open for public access unless they have been deemed confidential. Certain information that would violate the privacy of the parties involved may not be made available.
In order to review Indiana court records, you will need to submit a Bulk Data/Compiled Information form. Keep in mind that individual courts/clerks may charge a reasonable cost associated with the time and materials needed to fulfill your request. There may also be limitations to the information that can be provided due to technical or staffing limitations.

If you need Indiana jail records for Indiana background checks, then the Indiana Department of Corrections maintains an online database that you can search. Searches can be performed by name and offender number. Results will show you the offender’s name, DOC number, gender, race, earliest date of release, and sentencing information.

Indiana Driving Records
If you are looking for Indiana driving records, then the fastest way to get the paperwork you need is to create an online myBMV account. This online account works like a virtual license branch and will allow you to view your records and access other services. You must have a driver’s license to sign up for a myBMV account
Once you have created your account, you can purchase, view, and print your Indiana driving records. An Official Driving Record will show the last 10 years of history and costs $4. You can get a certified copy of this report accompanied by a letter of certification for $8. If you do not have an Indiana driving license, you can also request an Indiana driving record by the mail by mailing in a Request For Driving Records And/Or Motor Vehicle Or Watercraft Records form along with any applicable fees. It is important to note that you can only access your own records unless you have the notarized consent of the person for which you wish to access Indiana driving records.
