Court Record Resources

In the state of Tennessee there are two separate and distinct forms of background checks that are available for the public. It is important that you request the correct criminal check for your needs as there will be no refunds issued for the fees required of each.

Fingerprint based checks are done in conjunction with Cogent Systems which automates the scheduling process, thus enabling the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to track printed applicants as well as providing a more flexible way to be printed.

Name based checks may be done online if you have a valid credit card, or via mail or fax, with results submitted to a valid email address when and if provided.
