The state of Wyoming has allowed in its statues for individuals to procure a voluntary record check that may further be provided to any person the subject of the investigation may designate. This process requires the submission of an accurately and fully completed State of Wyoming applicant fingerprint card and a pre-printed waiver form. The statute also dictates that a fee must be submitted at the time of the request.
A criminal history record check in Wyoming generally consists of arrest and conviction records within the state including all felonies and many misdemeanors but not municipal ordinance violations. If so authorized by law, this check may include records of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
